On June 13-17, 2022, Jayna Collingridge and 20 other speech-language pathologists from around the world were selected to participate in an advanced professional training for young children who stutter. The training focused on Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy which uses research-based strategies and elements of cognitive approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Twelve SLPs from the United States and nine international speech therapists met together for this training, which was co-sponsored by Boston University and the Stuttering Foundation.
